ACTIVITY: OLA Conference

The 2025 OLA Conference took place at the University of Amsterdam (REC Building) on 23–24 October. The event brought together PhD researchers from across the Netherlands working on Latin America, offering a space to share ongoing research — from early project ideas to fieldwork reflections, methodological discussions, and dissertation chapters.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, receive feedback, and connect with fellow members of the OLA network (the Dutch PhD Forum on Latin America), strengthening collaboration and community among emerging scholars.
